A second chance!

What kills the relationships these days?

(The below mentioned story is from movie Kapoor and sons)
The other day Harsh Kapoor told his wife, I will try to make things work by starting afresh.Deep Inside he was feeling guilty for having extra marital affair for which his wife was unaware.
He was having affair with Anu from past one year.
He went at Anu’s house to tell her It’s Over from my side.
Along the way his son Rahul Kapoor saw his Dad’s car parked outside the Anu aunty house.
He went Inside to check whether his Dad was there?
Without giving his Dad a chance to speak, he rushed out of Anu aunty home towards his home.
Here Sunita Kapoor came to know about the affair of Rahul with a gay. She starts arguing with him when Rahul told her “No one is honest in this home, first ask your husband where he is”.

The most humble character from movie Amarjeet Kapoor, whose last wish was to get a Family Photograph.
When he was so excited that his last wish was going to complete soon as all family members were ready to pose in a pic.
Sunita Kapoor asks her husband “Have you been to Anu’s home?”.
He replied “I will tell you everything”.
She was so disturbed and irritated she just went away saying I can’t do Drama anymore.
She repeated the question to her husband.
He told “I went there to end everything and start afresh a new life with you because……..
Without allowing him to complete she Interrupted “ You and your son both are liar”.

All he wanted was a Second chance :(

She came Inside and had a conversation with Rahul.

Mother: I don’t know why I lost you three in my life?
Rahul: Its nothing like that.
Mother:  Then why you lied to me? You have an affair with  a gay. You were my Perfect son, how can you do this?
Rahul: I am tired of being perfect all the time. I am tired of running from myself. Tired of lying to you and hiding things from you .All I just want to love me for who I am.

Here Arjun Kapoor started fighting with Rahul (his brother)because he has kissed his Girlfriend mistakenly.

Arjun also came to know about his book being published already having name of Rahul because his mother cheated on him. He started arguing with her mother.

Harsh Kapoor already left home and went somewhere in a car.

What making those relationships kill?
A Chance-
To listen.

Everyone was living in stereotypes of having perfect son, perfect husband, perfect mother!
No one is ready to listen. But Sunita Kapoor did gave her husband a chance to speak out.
She called her husband to listen to him.
Phone ringing……..
Before he Could pick up the phone a truck Came in Front of car and he met with an accident.

He died.

She cried .she was regretting for not listening to her husband. She urged her husband to stay for some time new roads might be constructed this time.

(Saathi rey, thoda thehar jaa ab raste yu badal se jayenge)

But he was gone.

Do you really express your feelings towards your close ones?

Or listen to them just to have compassion for them?

NO.

Either we don’t want to or we don’t have time for these.

We are so busy  in our lives as if the secret purpose is to somehow get everything done. We stay up late, get up early , avoid having fun and keep our loved ones waiting. Sadly, I’ve seen many people who put off their loved ones lose interest in maintaining the relationship. Often we convince ourselves that our obsession with our “TO DO” list is only temporary-that once we get through the list ,we’ll be calm, relaxed and happy.  But in reality this rarely happens. As items are checked off new items will replace them.

The nature of your “In basket” is that it’s meant to have items to be completed in it—It’s not meant to be empty. There will always be phone calls that need to be made, projects to complete, goals to achieve and work to be done.

Regardless of who you are or what you do, however, remember that nothing is more important than your own sense of happiness and inner peace and that of your loved ones. If you’re Obsessed with getting everything done, you’ll never have a sense of well-being!

In Reality, almost everything can wait. Very little in our work lives truly falls into the “EMERGENCY” category.

Remember when you die, there will still be unfinished business to take care of. And you what? Someone else will do it for you!

Don’t waste any more precious moments of your life regretting the Inevitable.

All you have to do is “Express and Listen to your Closed ones”.

Who knows we may never get a second chance for it.
